The goal of the project was to reduce the footprint of the tool and increase the throughput of liquid-handling operations. The team tested both a motor-based and pneumatic-based design, then delivered a complete 12-actuator motor system for easy integration into Counsyl&#8217;s pipeline, as well as plans for the pneumatic design alternative.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Counsyl, Inc.
