Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/clinic\/history-of-the-clinic-program\/\">History of the Clinic Program<\/a>&nbsp;to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/clinic\/success-stories\/\">Niagara Bottling\u2019s 2016 Clinic<\/a> saved the company $1.3 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits of Clinic Sponsorship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a capstone of the curriculum, the Clinic Program engages students in solving real-world, technical problems for corporate, government and non-profit clients. Unlike many academic partnerships, all intellectual property and work product resulting from the project belongs to the sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, nearly all Clinic sponsors report their projects are successful. For some, that means cost savings or process improvements, for others it means filing a patent that may be commercialized.
