Transact Integrated Payments Implementation<\/td>HMC is moving from Authorize.net to Transact Integrated Payments for our billing and cashiering provider in alignment with the rest of the 5Cs.<\/td><\/tr>
Anthology Student Information System Implementation<\/td>Anthology, the new Student Information System, will be launching soon. It has far reaching implications for our technology ecosystem.<\/td><\/tr>
Pathify Implementation<\/td>HMC is implementing Pathify as a centralized portal to replace the existing portal at portal.hmc.edu. It will launch with basic capacity in tandem with Anthology. The new portal will be at my.hmc.edu<\/a><\/td><\/tr>
Provisioning updates<\/td>Our system for creating HMC credentials and accounts in many systems relies on the old student system CX, and needs to be restructured to use Anthology and Workday.<\/td><\/tr>
Endpoint Management<\/td>CIS is working to expand and improve our Endpoint (servers, laptops, desktops) Management to streamline support as well as improve the security and administration of institutional devices.<\/td><\/tr>
Google Storage Limits<\/td>Google has changed its policy of offering unlimited content storage in Google Workspace for Education. They now provide a limited amount of storage shared as a pool across the institution. This approach is similar to that of Microsoft, Box, Dropbox and others. This project is to reduce the HMC pooled storage below the new limit.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

Footprints 12<\/td>Upgrade the software that we use for managing Help Desk tickets, which is called Footprints.<\/td>Q3 2020<\/td><\/tr>
Identity and Access Management deployment<\/td>The Claremont Colleges future Identity and Access Management system will provide all members of The Claremont Colleges community with a single set of credentials that facilitates easy and secure access to those electronic and physical resources which they are permitted to use. HMC successfully implemented RapidIdentity in June 2020, and CIS is working with the other colleges and TCCS on this project.<\/td>Q2 2020<\/td><\/tr>
Upgrade Computational Chemistry Lab<\/td>Configure and replace hardware based on the software needs of Prof Cave\u2019s computational chemistry lab.<\/td>Q1 2020<\/td><\/tr>
Math Initiative<\/td>Partner with the Mathematics Department to redesign computing services for the Department. The goal is to have CIS support general IT services, allowing the Math Department IT Analyst to focus on initiatives and issues that are specific to Math.<\/td>Q1 2020<\/td><\/tr>
Distribution of updated anti-virus software<\/td>Provide and support cloud-based Trend Micro anti-virus solution.<\/td>Q1 2020<\/td><\/tr>
JupyterHub server on Kepler<\/td>Set up and support a multi-user server using JupyterHub, Julia and Jupyter Notebooks on Vatche Sahakian’s machine called Kepler. The server is used for a Computational Physics course taught by Prof. Vatche Sahakian, by summer students working with Prof. Ann Esin and possibly other faculty as well.<\/td>Q3 2019<\/td><\/tr>
