You can use LastPass to generate and store a complex password for your <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/cis\/services\/hmc-credentials\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HMC credentials<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or any other logins you use for Mudd or non-Mudd related services.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Availability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LastPass Business<\/strong> is an opt-in service available to all HMC available to faculty and staff for work-related university usernames and passwords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LastPass Premium<\/strong> is an opt-in service available to all HMC students, alumni, as well as any faculty or staff wanting a personal account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please refer to our <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1FZWhopYe5v0VoOBgTf2nLWRCVjFDx7MzoKPOUbG9TaA\/edit#heading=h.u3ahijqgccn6\">HMC LastPass FAQ<\/a> to understand the differences between LastPass Business, Premium, and Free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Login Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/\">LastPass website<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastpass.com\/partnerpremium\/hmc\">Harvey Mudd LastPass Premium page<\/a> (for students, alumni, as well as any faculty or staff wanting a personal account)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastpass.com\/misc_download2.php\">LastPass download page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Access the Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LastPass Business (for faculty and staff)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Data stored in LastPass can be accessed via the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/\">LastPass website<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/download\">browser plugin<\/a>, or the various <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/download\">LastPass for Mobile applications<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/cis\/duo-two-factor-authentication\/\">Duo two-factor authentication<\/a> is required upon sign in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive an email from <a href=\"mailto:d&#111;&#45;&#110;o&#116;-re&#112;l&#121;&#45;s&#117;&#112;p&#111;&#114;t&#64;&#108;&#97;s&#116;pas&#115;.c&#111;&#109;\">d&#111;-&#110;&#111;t&#45;&#114;e&#112;&#108;&#121;-s&#117;&#112;p&#111;&#114;&#116;&#64;&#108;&#97;s&#116;p&#97;s&#115;&#46;c&#111;m<\/a> that contains your activation code. If you are a new employee, please periodically check your inbox for the activation email once your @hmc email is created. <strong>If you need your LastPass invite resent to you, please use our <a href=\"https:\/\/script.google.com\/a\/g.hmc.edu\/macros\/s\/AKfycbwY4ZLt-Trz_Jagr_AHpcsidDYg45-4pR0sIetPKeg6G05dmXp3\/exec\">HMC LastPass self-service portal.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:&#104;e&#108;p&#100;e&#115;&#107;&#64;&#104;&#109;c.&#101;&#100;&#117;\">&#104;&#101;&#108;&#112;&#100;&#101;sk&#64;&#104;mc&#46;&#101;du<\/a> if you are unable to activate your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can optionally <a href=\"https:\/\/support.logmeininc.com\/lastpass\/help\/link-your-personal-account-lp010028\">link a personal LastPass account<\/a> (a Free or Premium account using a <strong>non-HMC email<\/strong>) to keep personal passwords separate from your work passwords. You can upgrade your personal account to Premium using the information below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LastPass Premium (for students, alumni, and any faculty or staff wanting a personal Premium account)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As with our Business users, data stored in LastPass can be accessed via the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/\">LastPass website<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/download\">browser plugin<\/a>, or the various <a href=\"http:\/\/lastpass.com\/download\">LastPass for Mobile applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can upgrade your personal LastPass account to Premium by visiting our <a href=\"https:\/\/lastpass.com\/partnerpremium\/hmc\">Harvey Mudd LastPass Premium page<\/a>. <strong>In the field asking for the&nbsp;<em>university email address<\/em>, please enter your HMC email address in the format <em>&#117;&#115;&#101;r&#110;&#97;&#109;&#101;&#64;hmc.&#101;du<\/em>.<\/strong> Any personal email address (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) can be used to sign up.
