The Learning Studio is located on the ground floor of the Norman F. Sprague Center. It was designed to support and facilitate a number of different ways of working and studying. In addition to a classroom space with flexible furniture and laptops, there are areas for individual and group work with desktop computers and lounge seating. The Learning Studio also houses the CIS Help Desk and several printers. The Learning Studio was funded in major part by the Fletcher Jones Foundation with additional funding from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundation and CIS operational funds.
Available to faculty, students, and staff at HMC.
How to Access the Service
The Learning Studio is open to the Harvey Mudd community 24 hours/day, 7 days/week with card swipe access after business hours and on weekends.
Since the Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning opened in Fall 2013, the Learning Studio Classroom is no longer a regularly scheduled classroom space. Faculty can schedule individual classes in the Learning Studio by using the Event Management System.
