The seminars are\u00a0in keeping with the College\u2019s mission to educate students so they may assume leadership roles in their fields with a clear understanding of their work\u2019s impact on society. Students benefit tremendously hearing from diverse speakers on a variety of topics that contribute to their professional development.<\/p>\n<p>The seminars are offered both fall and spring semesters and are held during the lunch or dinner hours. They are typically offered for 45 minutes but can be longer depending on the topic. The seminars are advertised on campus and on Handshake, our career management system, each semester.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"clear\">Call for Presenters<\/h2>\n<p>We invite\u00a0employers, alumni, parents, community members, and Claremont Colleges faculty and staff to\u00a0be\u00a0presenters\u00a0for the Beyond the Fair seminars. Student clubs and organizations can also request to co-sponsor Beyond the Fair seminars.
