Attending Career Fairs as a Student

Career fairs provide an excellent opportunity for students of all class years to meet prospective employers face-to-face in an informal setting. For first-year students, sophomores and juniors, the fairs provide a way to learn about organizations as well as to make connections to secure internships. For graduating seniors, fairs offer an excellent opportunity to make contacts, share resumes and secure employment.

Fairs are open to all The Claremont Colleges and to Harvey Mudd alumni. To find out which organizations are attending, log on to ClaremontConnect and select Event, or look for the Quick Link.

It is a good idea to review the career fair section in the OCS Career Guide prior to attending a fair. There is also a handout available in the career center. A workshop is offered the week of the fair to help you make the most of your time. Check ClaremontConnect for dates.
