As the Assistant Director of the Office of Career Services, Aneesha Akram is involved in employer and graduate school relations as well as career counseling and programming. She is responsible for the planning and execution of employer/graduate school information sessions and on-campus interviews. Akram also assists students with resume writing, internship search, networking and interview preparation.
Akram joined the Office of Career Services in May 2013. Prior to coming to HMC, Akram handled recruitment and oversaw the operations department for a financial services company. She has experience working in the career centers of Cal Lutheran University, Mount St. Mary’s College, and College of the Canyons. In addition, she has volunteered as a career coach with the Dress for Success program.
Aneesha has a B.A. in Sociology from Cal State University, Los Angeles and an M.S. in Counseling and Guidance with a concentration in College Student Personnel from Cal Lutheran University.
