About the Conference<\/h2>\n

The Harvey Mudd College Society of Women Engineers (HMC-SWE) chapter is hosting the 2026 Women Engineers and Scientists of Tomorrow (WEST) Conference, offering young women the opportunity to learn more about careers in STEM fields (with a focus on engineering and computer science). The conference provides attendees with opportunities to engage with each other, professors and current Harvey Mudd students, through a series of workshops, panels and events.<\/p>\n

Lunch is included. An optional campus tour will also be offered following the conference. Dress is casual.<\/p>\n

Registration Fee & Payment Options<\/h2>\n

Student Pre-registration (by Feb. 27): $15 per student
\nStudent Registration (After Feb. 27 or at the door): $20 per student
\nParent Registration: $10 per parent (if attending lunch)<\/p>\n

We are accepting registration fee payments online or at the door!<\/p>\n

For online payments, please either (1) Venmo @ayushik617(2) PayPal ayushikashyap27@gmail.com, or (3) Zelle (510) 857-7735. and write “2026 WEST Conference” and the student’s name in the comments section of the payment.<\/p>\n

At the door, you can provide your payment. We can’t guarantee we’ll have change, if needed.<\/p>\n

Deadlines & Other Information<\/h2>\n

We will be sending out a preference form for the workshops to those who fill out the registration form (so please keep an eye out for that).<\/p>\n

Also, please note that space is limited for the conference, so make sure to register early if you’re interested in attending the conference! Registration will close once the event is filled.<\/p>\n
