Mudd Talks: “Going Rogue in Grad School: Business or Law After a Mudd Degree”

Have you ever thought of going rogue after your science, engineering or math education at Mudd? Let us tell you about what it's like in the world of business and law. We'll discuss career paths for adding an MBA or law degree to a Mudd education.
Open to all HMC constituents.

Russell Hamilton '94 (engineering) holds an MBA from Stanford and an M.S. (engineering) from UC Berkeley. After Mudd, he was an environmental engineer for four years before going into the world of business. Since then, he has worked as a management consultant and with innovation and strategic partnerships for Visa, American Express and Wells Fargo. Hamilton is now a part-time independent consultant and lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.

Mark Mathison '94 (engineering) has a J.D. from UCLA Law and an M.S. (aero engineering) from the University of Washington. After Mudd and graduate school, he served as an engineer with Raytheon for nine years before going to law school. He is now is a patent attorney and partner at one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the world. Mathison lives in Walnut Creek, California, with his wife and three children.
