Cahill, called “a sterling pianist and an intrepid illuminator of the classical avant-garde” by The New York Times, celebrates the centennial of composer Lou Harrison. "Lou Harrison and His Circle," is an exploration of rarely heard but fascinating works from height of America's unique form of musical modernism. In addition to works by Harrison, some receiving their first performance in over 70 years, Cahill will present works by Henry Cowell (Harrison's teacher), Johanna Beyer, James Cleghorn and Frank Wigglesworth.
