The Eco-Engage Sustainability Dialogue series is an opportunity to engage with fellow students, faculty and staff across The Claremont Colleges about sustainability. The aim of the series is to encourage a shift from critical thinking to action on environmental issues.

The second event of this series is a Sustainable Cooking and Dining Workshop, led by Christy Spackman (Hixon-Riggs Early Career Fellow in Science, Technology and Society). Spackman will offer useful tips and suggestions for living a sustainable lifestyle when it comes to cooking and dining!

The workshop will incorporate a discussion component, where attendees can discuss the challenges with purchasing and eating sustainable food, especially with a food system that oftentimes subsidizes less healthy and less sustainable food options.
