SUMMARY:Driving the Impact of Data Science (DIoDS) Conference: From Data to
  Doing
DESCRIPTION:The DIoDS conference is part of an ambitious initiative at Harv
 ey Mudd College to build a Lab for Data Science and Social Impact. This La
 b will be an interdisciplinary center where research\, education and commu
 nity partnership meet to shape the future of socially responsible data sci
 ence. This conference is part of our key programming and aims to convene t
 he networks\, conversations and collaborations we hope will characterize o
 ur emerging institute.\n\nThe DIoDS conference will bring together academi
 cs\, civic and public leaders\, industry professionals\, community leaders
  and students to explore how data science can be leveraged responsibly to 
 serve society. Our goal is to transform data-driven insights into meaningf
