DESCRIPTION:For the past 70 years\, Harvey Mudd College has advanced STEM e
 ducation and practice by educating a diverse cohort of engaged STEM leader
 s through exceptional teaching\, hands-on learning and research\, and comm
 unity building. We invite you to join us for a celebration of the College
 ’s 70th anniversary with a symposium highlighting Harvey Mudd’s impact
 ful pedagogical innovations\, strong history of academic excellence and me
 aningful contributions to STEM discovery and education while\, together\, 
 we imagine the bold future that lies ahead.\nSymposium\, “Bold Ideas for
  a Better World: 70 Years of Innovative Education”\n2–4:30 p.m.\, Gali
 leo Hall\n\nAs part of the symposium\, President Harriet B. Nembhard hosts
  a conversation with Dr. David Agus\, renowned physician\, author and foun
 ding CEO of the Ellison Medical Institute. The Ellison Medical Institute w
 as established in 2016 as a medical research and development center and fe
 atures innovative labs for artificial intelligence and molecular analytics
 . The institute is dedicated to the development and use of therapies and t
 echnologies to improve the care of patients and prevent disease.\nReceptio
