A Day in the Life of an ASPIRE Student<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ASPIRE students experience life at Harvey Mudd much like a Mudd undergraduate. Each day blends rigorous, hands-on academic coursework with collaborative problem-solving, laboratory exploration, and meaningful engagement beyond the classroom. Students participate in company site visits and career exploration experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications, while also enjoying extracurricular activities, residential life, and community-building events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the program, students are supported and mentored by Harvey Mudd faculty and current HMC students, who model curiosity, collaboration, and intellectual integrity. This integrated academic and social experience offers students an authentic preview of college life at a leading STEM institution\u2014challenging them to think deeply, work collaboratively, and belong to a vibrant learning community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy breakfast at the Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons and experience what everyday campus dining is like at Harvey Mudd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 a.m. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Academic Course <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Develop your problem-solving skills in a course taught by Harvey Mudd faculty or alumni that includes hands-on labs and design challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noon <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Lunch <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Join current students for lunch at the Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons and experience the social side of campus life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:30 p.m.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Experiential Learning and Exploration <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Participate in hands-on lab activities, company site visits and career exploration experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 p.m.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

College Discovery <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Attend college preparation workshops and receive mentorship by undergraduate students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 p.m.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Dinner <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy dinner at the Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons and unwind with students while reflecting on the day\u2019s experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 p.m. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Campus and Community Engagement (Clubs, Athletics, Arts, and More!)<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Explore clubs, athletics, arts and other activities that shape student life and build community at Harvey Mudd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:30 p.m. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Mentor Check-in <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Meet with your mentor to reflect on the day, ask questions and get personalized guidance about the program and preparing for college life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Residential Life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students will live in Harvey Mudd residence halls and be fully supported by trained residential staff throughout the program. All meals will be provided at the Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons, and evenings will include structured activities, free time and community-building events. Staff supervise students 24\/7, and mentors are present during transitions, activities and downtime to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive residential experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
