My mission is to ensure that companies prioritizing human and environmental health don\u2019t just survive \u2014 they lead. I believe in a business landscape where responsible manufacturing is recognized, rewarded, and sets the standard for what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest book in the Empowering Women in STEM Series from CRC Press (release date 6\/16\/25) includes a chapter where I tell my story, including discovering the field of materials science my junior year at Mudd. I quote the HMC mission statement and a sentence from my senior yearbook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be more books in the series. If you identify as a woman and want to contribute a chapter, please reach out, and I\u2019ll connect you with the editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a personal note, I am happy to be reclaiming my original name Julia Freer following my divorce.
