This year, the company\u2019s editors named the top 25 colleges in 50 separate categories, ranging from best financial aid, friendliest students and best campus food. The ranking lists are based on <em>The Princeton Review\u2019s<\/em> surveys of students currently attending the colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harvey Mudd\u2019s rankings in <em>The Princeton Review\u2019s<\/em> <em>The Best 392 Colleges <\/em>for 2027 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>#4\u00a0 Best Campus Food<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#4\u00a0 Best Science Lab Facilities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#6\u00a0 LGBTQ-Friendly<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#8 Most Accessible Professors<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#8 Most Active Student Government<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#9 Professors Get High Marks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#13 Their Students Love These Colleges<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#14 Green Matters: Everyone Cares About Conservation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#16 Best Classroom Experience<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#19 Friendliest Students<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#20 Best Quality of Life<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In<a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/college\/harvey-mudd-college-1023484\"> <em>The Princeton Review<\/em>\u2019s profile of Harvey Mudd<\/a>, the editors write that students feel \u201cthey lead projects and follow their interests and have a lot of freedom.\u201d They also note that students praise faculty, who they feel \u201cput in a lot of effort to make sure everyone has a strong understanding of everything learned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students are left with the overall impression that \u201cthe workload is worth it simply because of what comes out of it; that is, the friends and the knowledge that you know will last forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Princeton Review recognition reflects many of the qualities at the heart of Harvey Mudd\u2019s new strategic plan, STEM for a Better World. High marks for science lab facilities and classroom experience underscore the College\u2019s commitment to innovative, hands-on STEM education and state-of-the-art educational infrastructure, while recognition for accessible professors reflects the close faculty-student relationships that make the Mudd experience distinctive.
