This year, the company\u2019s editors named the top 25 colleges in 50 separate categories, ranging from laboratory facilities to financial aid to campus food. The ranking lists are based on The Princeton Review\u2019s surveys of students currently attending the colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harvey Mudd\u2019s rankings in The Princeton Review\u2019s Best 390 Colleges 2025 (released August 2024) and Best Value Colleges 2024 (released June 2024) include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No. 2 for \u201cBest Career Placement (Private Schools)\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No. 4 for \u201cTop 50 Best Value Colleges (Private Schools)\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No. 4 for \u201cTop 20 Best Schools for Internships (Private Schools)\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No. 7 for \u201cMost Accessible Professors\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No. 14 for \u201cProfessors Get High Marks\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Top 50 (unranked list) for \u201cColleges That Create Futures\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No. 2 for \u201cTop 20 Best Value Private Colleges for Students With No Demonstrated Need\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Harvey Mudd meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for all students, and about 70% of students receive need-based or merit awards, or a combination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In The Princeton Review\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/college\/harvey-mudd-college-1023484\">profile of Harvey Mudd<\/a>, the editors write, \u201cEven among elite institutions, Harvey Mudd College stands out, a liberal arts school with a firm STEM focus.\u201d Students are quoted as saying they &#8220;have had the best support system,&#8221; with &#8220;incredible&#8221; professors that are &#8220;truly dedicated to undergraduate teaching&#8221; and are &#8220;always willing to spend hours outside of class answering questions.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students surveyed also praised the broad Core curriculum at Harvey Mudd which \u201cproduces scientists who can rise to meet interdisciplinary challenges within the sciences\u201d and facilitates \u201cgreat post-grad opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students described the College as having a \u201cstrong community of talented students that build each other up,\u201d and a \u201csmall, tight-knit community in which everyone looks after one another.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harvey Mudd College was named one of the country\u2019s top undergraduate institutions in The Princeton Review\u2019s latest college guide,&nbsp;The Best [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":25,"featured_media":5211,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[967],"class_list":["post-13450","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-general-feed"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13450","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/25"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13450"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13450\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":13451,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13450\/revisions\/13451"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5211"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13450"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/about\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=13450"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
