There are a number of self-storage places in the Claremont area, should you need to store your belongings during the summer. We don’t recommend any site in particular, nor endorse these. You may also consult Self Storage Finders, a storage facilities directory, to find and compare storage sites.

This place has competitive pricing and delivers storage containers right to your door. The containers are then picked up from you and placed in storage. Storage Valet is located in Corona, CA.

Reliable Self Storage — 1495 N. Andrew Dr., Claremont, CA 91711 —  (909) 625-5060
Reliable opened in October 2003. It is within walking distance of Harvey Mudd, just north of the AM/PM on the corner of Foothill and Claremont Boulevards.

Upland Self Storage — 2026 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland, CA 91786 — (909) 920-4400
This place opened a few years ago and is a mile from campus on Foothill, between Monte Vista and Central. It also has a U-Haul franchise with it. One CMC student comments, “I can’t recommend this place highly enough (it’s clean, cheap, very close, and rents U-Hauls).”

Mini U Storage — 1571 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland, CA 91786 — (909) 981-4779
These units are right across Foothill Blvd. from Wal-Mart in Upland. It’s about a mile and a half from campus.

Airport Mini Storage — 1200 N. Benson Ave., Upland, CA 91786 — (909) 982-9203
If you go east on Foothill to Benson (right at the place above), turn left and go uphill about a half mile, you’ll find this place on the right. It’s about 2 miles from campus.

Route 66 Self- Storage — 450 E. Foothill Blvd., Pomona, CA 91767 —  (909) 624-1320
Route 66 is 2 miles to the west on Foothill, just over the border of Pomona, across from Carrows. It opened in January 2003 and provides deals, including 4 hours free use of a 15-foot truck (drivers can be under 21, though with insurance).

This place is about 2.5 miles north of campus, just west of Indian Hill on Baseline.

All American Mini Storage — 711 S. Mills Ave., Claremont, CA 91711 — (909) 621-7867
All American and its companion, Extra Space, are on the south side of town, right by Interstate 10.

Extra Space** — Two Locations:

It’s just west of Indian Hill on Arrow, just south of the village.

If you need a truck to cart your stuff to the mini-storage places, there are U-Haul and Budget truck rental places within 2 miles of campus on Foothill in Upland.

If you want a company to come to campus, pack your stuff in a container and store it over summer, all at a price, you can contact Golden Eagle, in Upland.
