We at West dorm believe that it is necessary to balance the heavy Mudd 
workload with a healthy dose of fun and relaxation. You can bet that 
you'll find Westies talking around our firepit, sitting on couches, or 
building something in our courtyard at whatever time of day you decide 
to take a study break. There is simply always something going on here. 
Although Mudders in general tend to be some of the smartest and most 
friendly, fun, and non-judgmental people you've ever met, I've found 
that the West community goes even farther by adding to that a sense of 
creativity and creation (and at times destruction). It really is an 
exciting place to live!

I'm an engineering major from New York state with interests in 
psychology, foreign languages, traveling, culture, Norse mythology, 
cooking, ecology, running, rock music, movies, fuzzy animals, and most 
other things. I would love if you stopped by my room to talk about 
anything (bonus points if it's in a different language and double points 
if in French or Spanish). I believe that happiness is an attainable 
goal, and I refuse to settle for anything less.

I am truly excited to get to know all of you in the class of 2015. On 
behalf of West dorm, I send you our warmest welcome.

Divina Allen

Hello everyone! I'm Divina, and I'm one of the West Dorm mentors for the 2011-2012 school year. This is my third year living in West, because, let's face it, WEST IS BEST! If your idea of fun involves smashing old computers, or burning... well really anything, then you'll love West! We are a dorm with a lot of spirit, and a great, creative, and outgoing community.
I am an engineering major with a biomedical focus. I also like to practice dark room photography in my spare time--if you'd like to learn let me know! Feel free to swing by my room anytime to discuss academics, the West scene, or anything that is on your mind!

Hey People!

I'm Alice and I'll be one of the mentors of West next year. West is an awesome place to live. Our courtyard is filled with a fire pit, loads of couches, our dorm squirrel Rusty, and plenty of unidentifiable objects (or parts of them). We're a social dorm so you can always find people hanging out in the courtyard or on the lawn. I can't wait to meet you all next year! 

A little about me: I'm a Math major (previously Math-CS) with a particular interest in graph theory, algorithms, and other discrete math. In the fall, I studied abroad at Edinburgh (in Scotland). It was absolutely amazing. Outside of academics, I love baking cookies (which means you should stop by my room for yummyness), reading on the lawn, swimming at Scripps pool, and running. 

Next year is going to be awesome so you should be psyched. West is best!
