Proctor:

Kevin Samrick
Hi everyone, I’m Kevin Samrick, and I’ll be your off campus proctor. This will be my second year living off campus and my second year as off campus proctor. Both CGU and Brighton park have great facilities that include gas bbq’s available for residents’ use and outside patios, which are a great place for getting together and hanging out.
A little bit about myself: I grew up in Northern California about 45 minutes outside San Francisco. I’m an engineering major with an interest in systems. My interests include hiking (we have a beautiful National Forest, which, though less than 20 minutes away, lets you feel far removed from the LA metropolis), reading, sports, languages, traveling, cooking, baking, eating, and eating. Because the apartments off campus are a little more spread out, it may seem a little more intimidating to come say hi, but don’t be shy!
If you ever need use of a kitchen, want to get off campus to do some hiking, or just sit around, eat some cheese, and hang out, my door is always open. Can’t wait to meet you!
Mentor:

Robert Kealhofer
I'm a physics major from Lafayette, California, which is twenty five miles east of San Francisco. I hate free time, so I try to spend it all running, bicycling, playing the violin, or with friends. Depending on the season, sometimes it's possible to go skiing. I'm personally partial to the cross-country style. Anyway, maybe we can team up and kill some free time together – I'm always down for a run, a ride, or just a chat.
My friends mock me for my taste in music (do you like Mastodon? maybe we can make a tiny club), but I'm willing to listen to anything at least once! If there is some music that you think is super cool, tell me– I'm always excited about new music.
I hope I see you soon!
