Casey Schilling – Atwood 1st floor
Hometown: Irvine, California
Major: Engineering
Email: cschillling@hmc.edu
Facebook: http://claremont.facebook.com/profile.php?id=13300957
Hey Mudders, I'm Casey and I'll be chill'n on the first floor as member of the awesome Atwood proctor duo. Atwood is the three story tower with balconies, big spacious suites, and plenty of couches to hang out on. You'll find a wide mix of personalities and fun people to hang out with.
I'm studying a mix of electrical and structural engineering. You're likely to see me skateboarding across campus or handing out sports equipment in the LAC. I grew up in the "O.C." but no I don't watch the TV show. In my spare time, I like to play games in the suite lounge or get off campus to go sailing, surfing, rock climbing, snowboarding, or some other extreme sport. I am a firm believer in the work hard and play hard lifestyle. Its never too late to start so let's put together a trip if you want to learn.

Dariya Draganova – Atwood 3rd floor
Hometown: Lynwood, Washington
Major: Physics
Email: daria_draganova@hmc.edu
I was born in Varna, Bulgaria, and I lived there until age 13 when my family and I moved to Seattle, WA. So, believe me, I know what it's like to really really miss home. Don't be mistaken though, I love being here, and physics (my major) is one of my passions. Due to my background, I love to travel and get lost among different cultures. Also, I'll go backpacking, or hiking, or camping, or do anything outdoor-sy with you whenever you want! (We should make Casey take us sailing!) I also really want to learn how to play the base guitar, so once I do it, Kai and I might sing and play something for you.
I'll admit it though; I am also a sucker for girly activities, which few guys around here understand… and there are a lot of guys around here! So, if you ever want to do anything girly, stop by my room, ATW 304.
I love talking with people, and I am pretty reasonable, understanding, laid back and easy going, so if you are ever in need of a chat, come find me!

Andrew Danowitz – Case 1st floor
Hometown: Saugus, California
Major: Engineering
Email: andrew_danowitz@hmc.edu
Hey guys! The name’s Andrew, but most people just call me Danowitz, though I answer to pretty much anything. I’m the first floor Case Proctor for 2007-2008. Despite its imposing, fortress-like looks, Case is actually a kicking dorm and a great place to live. Case has: zany L-shaped halls, awesome people, great rooms, two totally amazing proctors, and much, much more! As for me, I’m from Santa Clarita, (right by Magic Mountain or about an hour north of Los Angeles). I am currently studying engineering with an emphasis on the electrical and computer side of things. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out, playing video games, reading up on world news and the latest technology, traveling, and, of course, meeting new people! So if you’re ever looking for something to do, have any questions about Mudd, or would just like to talk, come on down to Case 108. Remember, no matter how busy I am or how late it is, I always have time to chat! Other than that, have a great summer and I can’t wait to meet all of you this fall!

Abbygail Palmer – Case 2nd floor
Hometown: St. Catherine, Jamaica
Major: Engineering
Email: abbygail_palmer@hmc.edu
Hi, I’m Abby, Case proctor for 2007-2008. If you ever feel like climbing the stairs to the second floor of Mudd’s own pink fortress you’ll find me! Case is divided into four “Ls” with huge rooms; there is also a dorm kitchen, and lounges if you guys ever want somewhere to hang out. As for me, I grew up on the beautiful island of Jamaica with my parents, younger brother and two of the cutest puppies you have ever seen. I’d love to tell you all about my home if you’re curious. I’m an Engineering major and an active member of Mudd’s National Society of Black Engineers. In my free time (and sometimes when I’m not so free) I love to draw, watch TV, sit around and chat, or make (and eat) a nice home cooked meal. Feel free to stop by anytime to talk, try some Jamaican food or just grab some proctor candy. Case is definitely going to be amazing next year. Stop by first floor Case to see Proctor Andrew and then make a short trip to the opposite side upstairs and visit me! Can’t wait to meet you all!

Morgan Conbere – East
Hometown: Bainbridge Island, Washington
Major: Computer Science
Email: morgan_conbere@hmc.edu
Hey all! I'm Morgan, but people call me Morgan. I'm the proctor of East Dorm, the first building ever built on Mudd. Despite the building's relative age, the inhabitants are alive and kicking! East has an active and accepting population with interests spanning sports, martial arts, cooking, video games, board games, bouncy castles, reading, and just hanging out. If you're looking for fun, come on down to the dorm lounge and there will always be something happening.
Although this says my hometown is Bainbridge Island, my parents just recently moved there. I lived in Italy for four years before coming to Mudd and spent a lot of time traveling through Europe. I love a good distraction from work, so come on by and talk to me about anything and everything. I'm always ready for a conversation, though like most Computer Scientists here if you knock on my door before noon you'll probably wake me up! I'm looking forward to meeting you all!
Minal Shankar – Linde
Hometown: Arcadia, California
Major: Mathematics
Email: minal_shankar@hmc.edu
Hi, I’m Minal, the 2007-2008 Linde Dorme Proctor! (<- no, that is not a typo) Linde is set in the far outskirts of the campus (totally worth the walk) and us Lindees love to call it home. All the rooms share a suite living room, which is perfect for mingling with your suitemates and having small gatherings. We also boast the largest lounge on campus and people are always asking us to let them borrow it for parties and such. We’re happy to oblige : ) and the parties are great. Linde is a diverse community with many different personalities so you’ll be sure to find a friend or two.
As for me, I was born in India and moved to Los Angeles when I was 9. Since then I’ve lived all over the US – Exeter, NH, Irving, TX and Chagrin Falls, OH to name a few. I’ve really come to love seeing new places and meeting new people. Here at Mudd, I’m a Math major with a humanities concentration in Russian studies. I love absolutely love Russian literature. So if you ever want to talk Dostoevsky, I’m your girl. I’ve also been pretty involved on campus as the Linde dorme president last year and an honor board member the year before that.
I’m really excited for next year, especially meeting all you new freshmen. So stop by whenever you get a chance – I’ll have lots of Proctor candy and I love to talk. Also if you have any questions about your future life in Linde or at Mudd shoot me an email.
Alex Korn – North
Hometown: Stillwater, Minnesota
Major: Mathematics
Email: alexander_korn@hmc.edu
Hi everyone! I'm Alex, Norf Dorm Proctor for 2007-2008. I'm excited for my fourth year in North because I love the interesting people, the fun traditions, and the community. Whether you like barbecues on weekends, a quick game of basketball in the courtyard, watching the big-screen TV in the lounge, or just generally causing a ruckus from time to time, North is full of excitement. You'll also be pleased to know that Norf has been known to dominate IM (intramural) sports ranging from water polo to bowling to football.
I'm a math major from St. Paul, Minnesota, and when I'm not busy with homework and studying, I enjoy working on websites, skiing, and playing/listening to/writing music. I also like business and entrepreneurship, and I hope to start a company that incorporates the math I've learned here. I love talking to people, so feel free to stop by my room in backhall next to the lounge to chat, get some candy, or just hang out. I'm excited to meet all of you!

Trang Pham – Sontag
Hometown: Haltom City, Texas
Major: Mathematics
Email: trang_pham@hmc.edu
I'm a huge procrastinator, and I find so many distractions in everything around me. Most nights, you'll find me awake trying to finish up the last of those assignments which I could have completed had I not been stuck watching those YouTube videos (thanks to Prof. Yong for getting me hooked) or sharing life stories with friends. So you could come bug me at basically anytime of the night. I love to cook, so if you are ever hungry (and I'm not too terribly busy), I could whip something up to strike your fancy. Most likely, besides the proctor candy, I will also use freshly baked brownies and cookies to lure you to come chat with me! If you ever feel down, out of place, overwhelmed, come find me, and I will try my hardest to make you feel better.
I'm a big believer of going off-campus for some wholesome fun. CAP (Campus Activities Programming - best idea ever, Mudd!) organizes some spectacular off-campus events for cheap, so take advantage of it! If you can't get off-campus, and you want to relax for a little bit, DOS (Dean of Students) throws the best weekly homework breaks (I know I'm a little biased, but it's totally true!). Basically,I think everyone should take a lot of breathers while at Mudd: an hour of fun for every hour of class/homework. :)
I swear I won't bite, so just come say "HI!" to me. If I don't already know you, all the more reasons you should do it.
P.S. Also, Sontag *IS* the swankiest hangout in town. All the other dorms ain't got nuthin' on us.

Jason Fennell – South
Hometown: Medford, Oregon
Major: Computer Science and Mathematics
Email: jason_fennell@hmc.edu
Hey all, I'm Jason and will be the 2007-2008 South proctor. Best known for being slightly noise averse and for being the home of the college unicycling club, South is a great place to live. There are usually people hanging out on the couches in the courtyard, with the occassonal round of unicycle jousting to liven up the day. It doesn't hurt that South also has the only kitchen in the quad.
As for me, I'm a Computer Science-Math joint major hailing from Medford, Oregon. Come by 301D if you want to chat, or perhaps gorge yourself on massive quantites of proctor candy. If you can't find me in my room I will likely be indulging in one of my favorite hobbies: ultimate frisbee or unicycling, both of which I would love to teach you. I can't wait to meet you all next year!
Kai Mayeda – West
Hometown: Kaneohe, Hawaii
Major: Engineering
Email: mmayeda@hmc.edu
Aloha! I'm Michael but everyone calls me by my middle name: Kai. I'll be the proctor of almighty West!!! Come by and check out our eccentric styles of living. We love having fun so come on down and contribute to our plethora of stuff, personalities, and general mischief. The westies welcome all with endearing nicknames accompanied with random pranking. There's something for everyone so find the dorm with the following: machine parts, comfy couches, miscellaneous clutter, and a ficus tree that is officially west-proof!
By the way, I'm an engineering major born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii...imua! I've been doing engineering research for almost two years and I'm primarily interested in automotive mechanics. Big powerful engines help me feel like a bigger man than I actually am. I love snowboarding, soccer, tennis, mountain biking, hiking, camping, rock-climbing, cooking, gaming, body-boarding, and traveling. If your thing to do isn't listed it's only because I haven't met you yet so come by. Just head upstairs and listen for the guy playing his guitar and belching (it's supposed to be singing but at least I give it my best right?). The only thing that'll pull me away from my beloved Harvey Mudd is Mexican food at Patty's restaurant or 50% sushi at Sakana! Hungry anyone?
