CAP- good
Michael Ho- Rube Goldberg Machine Budget Proposal
Shawn- number of people actively working on it?
Michael- It’s hard to tell. Some dorms may opt out. Last semester found out who was interested- they will take on leadership positions. In the future, ask them.
Nick- up to each dorm to find out how to hook up stuff.
Maureen- Money from DOS?
Michael- Not yet. It’s more unsure how their budget works and what you can get from there. Ask them for things outside of equipment. Maybe a dunk tank at the end.
Nick- How do you know how the money is split up among dorms?
Michael- Based on how many people are in the dorm. Eg Atwood gets more than quad dorms.
Nick- fixed budget?
Michael- I sent out emails with their budgets that ask for a list of things they want. I will look over it with Dean Chris.
Maureen- where does it start and end?
Michael- Start at Linde, end at West and South
Elly- How active are you trying to beat the world record?
Michael- not that active. If that seems interesting to people, then we will pursue that.
Allysa- permanent or one day?
Michael- set up during spring break, clean up after it’s done.
