Status Updates
Seniors- starting to put together list of graduation speakers.
Linde- good. Getting a fire pit soon.
Sophomores- good. Alumni dinner is definite, getting RSVP’s, putting up flyers.
Sontag- good. Dorm potluck on Saturday.
South- good.
Juniors- good. Got 11 RSVPs for Alumni dinner.
CAP- good.
West- good. Taking care of snags from dorm meeting.
Case- good. Waterpolo game tonight.
DAC- good. Thinking up projects.
North- good. Dorm meeting went well.
Chrissy - OID- If want to do inter-dorm events, let Gary or Angelica know and they will have money to support it.
Maggie Browning- Explained what WASC is. All of ASHMC is invited to event with them.
Strieter- Money for ASHMC is coming in. Can start giving out reimbursements. $20,000 left that has not been allocated. New York Times should start coming this week. Need account transfer forms from dorms that use Bank of America.
Ben Keller- Honor Board Budget Request
Ben Keller- Hearings are supposed to be recorded. Request for $50 to buy digit voice recorder.
Russel- what is the point when they have computers? Better off to buy microphones.
Alyssa- Better to have own recorder to carry around so computer not necessary.
Donald- Won’t it be put on a computer eventually?
Toli- There are ways to access it from different computers anyway.
Julian- Usually Ben thinks things in a pretty organized way. He’ll figure out the best way to use the $50.
Brandyn- At a hearing, it took 15-20 minutes to get sound recording going. Ended up using a computer.

Ben Keller- Muddraker Budget Request
Ben Keller- Muddraker is part of ASHMC and while they have tabled at club fair, they have not asked for funds because they have been self-sufficient in past. Parents pay for paper and there are ads in paper. Now publishing more frequently. Running out of money now, but want to publish twice a semester ($200/publish). Want money for three additional issues and food for meetings.
Emma- how much money from parents each year?
Ben- Around $20 to $50. May not claim all $650. Want to be as self-sufficient as they can.
Caro- Don’t they have ads?
Maureen- want to print twice as much.
Julian- They will take money from subscriptions and ads first.

Kevin Riley- Brazilian Jiujitsu Charter Approval and Budget Request
Kevin Riley- Didn’t need charter or budget last year. This year there are more members, running out of mat space. Passed around charter. Requesting between $300 and $500 for new mats. Other martial arts classes could use these mats.
Caro- Do the other classes have their own mats?
Kevin- not sure. One of the classes moved to Scripps.
Amy- how many people are in the club?
Kevin- Between 6 to 8 people in the meetings.
Maureen- How many people signed up? Are they freshmen?
Kevin- 20 or 30 people. Don’t know if they’re freshmen.
Julian- Look at Tiernan?
Kevin- Will look into it this week.
Maggie Browning- Talk to Dean Chris about mats. He may be able to get you better price through catalogs.
Kevin- Talked to him last year. Found some at Scripps. Directed him to ASHMC.
Julian- Charter needs description of what the positions are going to do

Caro- Need to send him back to do more research to find other mats or cheaper prices.
Maureen- DC can get cheaper mats.
Donald- Byram bought new wrestling mats. Athletics could take care of it.
Singer Ma- Mixology Charter Approval
Singer- This is a pre-existing club, wants to bring it back. Presented charter of the club. Mostly informational meetings. Over 50 people signed up at club fair. Requesting $250 to be spent on glassware and books.

Singer- 80 people said they were interested in the club last night. General meetings of making and eating bacon. Making own bacon. Requesting $250 for buying bacon. Fixes to charter: Prince of Pork and affiliation.
Nick- Making bacon from scratch?
Singer- Takes a few days. Won’t be doing that during this semester.
Hufsa- are you going to have discussion topics?
Singer- depends on what the people want to do.
Margaret- Contact Sam Ettinger.
Singer- Have already done so. Bacon-l will be affiliated with this.

Kevin- Watch football games. Rent out inflatable big screen for big events like Superbowl. Didn’t come up with amount but requesting money for food and beverages.
Hufsa- Would you organize playing games?
Zack- No, just watching the games.
Margaret- how much interest?
Zack- 12 people in the Fantasy League. There were some people watching a game in Galileo. There will probably be more if there is club.
