The Mudd Investment Fund (MIF) is a club for students interested in learning the basics of stock trading and investing. Our $55,000+ portfolio gives members the chance to experience trading with real money in real markets. Additionally, members will learn about company and stock valuation, economic metrics, investing strategies, and macroeconomic theory.
There are two membership tiers within MIF: general members—students who have joined the club, can make contributions to discussions, make presentations and do research; and executive members—students who do everything previously mentioned and have voting privileges when it comes to making decisions. Anybody can be a general member and we encourage anyone with an interest in finance to join. Executive members must fill out an application testing financial and investing knowledge.
