Since 1998, HMC’s Linde Activities Center (LAC) has been the hub of students’ recreational and fitness activities. The LAC has aerobics and weight rooms, meeting rooms, a basketball court, a baby grand piano, video games, a television, DVD movies, vending machines and space to hang out.

The LAC, located at the east side of campus, is open to Harvey Mudd College students, faculty and staff, as well as students of Scripps College. HMC faculty and staff (including children over the age of 13 and spouses) are also welcome. Eligible non-students, though, must complete User Agreement, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability forms at the Human Resources Office prior to using the facility. Please show your College ID at the door.

Hours
During the academic year:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 1:30 a.m.

During the summer:
Monday-Friday, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. -– 10 p.m.

Room Reservations
If you are interested in reserving one of the two conference rooms or the gym for college activities, please visit http://emsweb.claremont.edu/hmc/. The Facilities and Maintenance Office handles room reservations.

Movie Rental
The LAC maintains a collection of videos and DVDs for personal student use. To reserve a movie, use their database at http://moviedb.ac.hmc.edu/.
