Harvey Mudd College will host the official release party for the popular video game Starcraft II with JinkTV and Blizzard Entertainment on Monday July 26 from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. in Galileo Hall. Starcraft II’s release is one of the biggest events of the year in the computer gaming industry.

Top Starcraft players will attend the event including current and former HMC students Kevin Riley ’12, Sean Plott ’08 and Corwin Cole ’07. A live stream of the release party will run on JinkTV’s The Day[9] Daily, an Internet TV channel focusing on content for top competitive PC computer gamers and founded by HMC alumni Eric Burkhart ‘08 and Sean Plott ’08. The event will include console game booths, gamer friendly food and drinks, t-shirts, art, prizes and giveaways.
