Alumni Weekend 2009, taking place at Harvey Mudd College (HMC) May 1-3, promises to have something fun for everyone.
More than 400 people are expected to attend this year's celebration, making it an excellent time to see old friends and visit with favorite faculty members.
Participants will have an opportunity to take in a student-organized play, investigate alumni career service resources, purchase HMC memorabilia, update contact information with the college and take advantage of alumni expertise in finance, networking and business.
Interested in networking and entrepreneurialism? Come to Alumni College on Friday with Alumni Association Outstanding Alumni Award recipients Robert De Pietro ’69; Walt Foley ’69, P99; Rick Sontag ’64 and Bruce Worster ’64, as they share the highs and lows of running their own business.
Brandon Duncan ’00 from LinkedIn, Jonathan Hsu ’01 from Facebook and Carl Kukkonen ’95 from Mintz Levin will also discuss ways alumni can get connected and stay connected with one another.

Have lunch with faculty chairs, taste wine with Scripps College alumnae and attend a service recognition dinner for Emerita Vice President Jeanne Noda, where Professor Elizabeth Orwin ’95 will induct Jeanne as honorary HMC alumna – and that’s just on Friday.
Saturday will include departmental and new building tours, lunch with faculty, more wine tasting, an update from HMC President Maria Klawe and the annual HMC Alumni Association Awards Ceremony, which will precede an all-class reception before alumni break away to separate reunion dinners (1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004).
