HMC
Distinguished Donors Honored in Legacy Society

Originally called OAKS (One-of-a-Kind Society), the Legacy Society was established to recognize and honor alumni, family, faculty and other friends who have made a bequest or other planned gift to Harvey Mudd College.

By becoming a Legacy Society member, you join the company of many who have helped to provide for generations of students and scholars to come. Most importantly, you will be helping to secure the College’s future.

Legacy Society members have endowed faculty chairs and scholarships, launched fellowships, expanded operational resources, sustained innovative programs, stewarded beloved buildings and grounds, and constructed new facilities. The enduring impact of these gifts is symbolized by the Moebius strip in the Legacy Society logo.

You are eligible for membership in the Legacy Society if you have named Harvey Mudd College as a beneficiary of your:

  • Will or Trust
  • IRA or other retirement plan
  • Life insurance policy
  • Life income or other planned gift (e.g., charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or remainder interest in a personal residence)

You may choose a particular area of interest to support or allow your gift to fund key priorities determined by the College’s leadership. However you choose to support the College, your membership in the Legacy Society will serve as an inspiration to all who share your vision for HMC’s future.

If you have planned an estate or life income gift to benefit HMC, we would be honored to add you to the rolls of the Legacy Society.

Contact the Office of Planned Giving at legacy@hmc.edu or (909) 607-0899 to become a member.
