A postdoctoral research associate in the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., Thiessen '92 received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Illinois in 1998. He recently formed a Custom Chemical Graphics service using his own software, PovChem. His work has been featured in many scientific publications, including on the cover of Science magazine. Thiessen's DNA Gallery on the Web (from which a selection has been featured here) has had more than 125,000 viewers since its creation. Paul is a graduate of Los Alamos High School in Los Alamos, N.M.
