A team consisting of Clay Hambrick, Paul Rundle, Natalie Hudson and Charlotte Goodwin took 11th out of 18 teams. Clay was the the sixth highest individual scorer in the whole tournament. Yay!

HMC Takes 3rd at UC Irvine College Bowl Conference Tournament

A Harvey Mudd team consisting of Eric Distad, Cyril Jacquot, Andrew Lim, and captain and team president Keith Buerger placed 3rd at the College Bowl Conference Tournament hosted by UC Irvine on Saturday, November 17. The team's finish, including victories over teams from UC Berkeley, UC Riverside, and USC, earned the club two book prizes: 3,458 Bible People & Places, and The Chronology of Words and Phrases: A Thousand Years in the History of English.

HMC Takes 3rd at ACF Fall Tournament

Harvey Mudd dispatched two teams to the Academic Competition Federation's Fall Tournament, hosted by Scripps College on Saturday, November 3. Mudd A, consisting of Dan Boylan, Cyril Jacquot, Cam McLeman, and captain and team president Keith Buerger captured 3rd place, edging out tough competition in the form of teams from UCLA, UC Irvine, Cal Tech, and Stanford. Cam McLeman earned 2nd place for individual performance, with an impressive 56 points per game. Mudd B, consisting of Aaron Becker, Eric Distad, Clay Hambrick, Andrew Lim, and Erika Rice, put up a good fight despite the extremely challenging ACF format. The tournament was directed and moderated by Nancy Williams of Scripps College, with club members Adam Bliss, Kathy Fredrickson, and Colin Little also serving as moderators, and Eric Distad serving as statistician.
