Pre-Orientiation is a student-sponsored backpacking trip that happens the week before Freshman Orientation. It is designed specifically for incoming freshman so you can get to know your classmantes and a couple of upperclassmen before the school year begins. We're excited to say that we will be traveling to Yosemite this year, so you should all sign up and enjoy the wilderness in good company!
If you are a prospective student/pre-frosh who is looking for more information about the Pre-Orientation hike, we suggest you go take a look at our pictures or leaders from previous years.The dates for Pre-Orientation 2011 are:
Monday, August 15th Leaders arrive on campus
Thursday, August 18th Freshmen should arrive by early afternoon
Friday, August 19th: We leave for the best hiking trip ever
Wednesday, August 24th: We get back from the best hiking trip
ever
Thursday, August 25th: Orientation begins
