Million Dollar Grant for Scholarships Announced
Apr 06, 2010 - Claremont, CA - The Rose Hills Foundation (Los Angeles, CA) has announced a $1,000,000 grant to Harvey Mudd College to continue the Foundation’s program of Undergraduate Science and Engineering Scholarships. During the next four years, scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students from Southern California who are majoring in engineering or the life or natural sciences. The Rose Hills Foundation is a legacy of the Founders and Directors of Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA, which is the largest cemetery in North America. The Foundation supports qualified organizations for the benefit of the people of Southern California, with an emphasis on the San Gabriel Valley and East Los Angeles.
