President Klawe in New York Times

Apr 04, 2012 - Claremont, Calif. - Harvey Mudd College President Maria Klawe was featured in an April 2, 2012 New York Times article about HMC’s progress in increasing the number of women in computer science.

The article, “Giving Women the Access Code,” describes how HMC boosted the number of women computer science majors—to triple the national average— through innovative introductory computer science courses, expanded CS research opportunities, and increased attendance at the female-focused Grace Hopper Conference.
