Aug 21, 2007 - Claremont, Calif. - The book describes Harvey Mudd College in this way (excerpted from the full text): “With only 700 students, the enrollment is significantly smaller that most tech schools. This translates into a real hands-on education. With few exceptions, full-time faculty teach all classes, which often have less than 20 students. Students must devote one-third of their study to a common technical core, which includes four semesters of math, three of physics, two of chemistry, and one of computer science, as well as two electives.”
