Three Harvey Mudd College faculty have been appointed to fellow positions in the Department of Engineering.

Philip Cha received the C.F. Braun and Co. Engineering Fellowship; David Money Harris obtained the Harvey S. Mudd Engineering Design Fellowship; and, Erik Spjut, was awarded the Union Oil Company Design Fellowship.

All three engineering professors have made strong contributions to the college and its curriculum, said Dean of Faculty Bob Cave. “They are creative, committed teachers who have been leaders in forwarding experiential learning,” Cave said. “I know that they will continue and extend the excellence that past fellowship recipients have brought to their work.”

Previous holders of the engineering fellowships include Jim Monson, Rich Phillips, Harry Williams, John Molinder and Mack Gilkeson.
