Literature 101 Class Offers Free Performances of William Shakespeare's King Lear
Apr 24, 2006 - Claremont, Calif. - Students of Literature 101 will offer free performances of William Shakespeare's King Lear on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the courtyard of Thomas-Garrett Hall. A traditional end-of-semester activity by students of the class, which is taught by Jeffrey Groves, professor of English and chair of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, the productions have been ongoing since 1989. This is the second year the students have mounted a production of King Lear.
