Student Phonathon
The Harvey Mudd College Phonathon program connects alumni and their families to our current students, maintaining engagement with each new generation of Mudders. These student callers share personal stories and news with alumni and parents, making our HMC community stronger.
They also serve on the frontline of our Annual Giving Office, raising money for HMC's most pressing needs, including financial aid, faculty retention, research, and student programs.

Our student callers are eager to hear about the exciting jobs and research that keep alumni busy, and to keep parents up-to-date with happenings on campus. Meaningful connections have been made through Phonathon such as the one with junior manager Josiah Gaskin '13:
"Late last fall I was calling alumni and I talked to Andre Ambramanko '99, and we realized we were both Computer Science majors. He suggested that I take Algorithms with Professor Ran (Libeskind-Hadas), and we started talking about his career.
"We really connected and he suggested I send him my resume when the summer began. Months later, I sent him my resume, and he hired me as an intern at his company, Pilothouse Consulting. I had a great experience developing a mobile phone application and still work for Andre when I get a chance."
