Students, faculty, and staff automatically recieve an account on Charlie. Alice is a Windows 2000 server for administrators. It operates as a file server for PCs and macs running OS X in the labs. How to connect to Charlie, and what you can do:

• FTP to Charlie.ac.hmc.edu to get files off the server or put files onto the server.
• Log into any lab computer to use programs on the server
• Type \\Charlie.ac.hmc.edu into an explorer window on a PC to get files off the server, view or edit files on the server, or put new files onto the server
• Go to your H: drive on lab computers to get files off the server, view or edit files on the server, or put new files onto the server

• Type \\alice.ac.hmc.edu into an explorer window on a PC to get files off the server, view or edit files on the server, or put new files onto the server
