Students can use four main CIS printers--one for each computer
lab--24 hours a day, 7 days a week (under a common-sense policy). Most
printers that CIS maintains are HP LaserJets. For a complete

To install network printers on dorm PCs and any other computers
within the network for which you have an administrative account, simply go
to \\charlie.ac.hmc.edu\printers using Explorer and click on the printer
you wish to install. To install a printer on a lab PC
open the Start menu, go to Settings..., and open
the Printers folder. Click on the Add Printer
icon and click Next until you get to the Find
Printers menu. Select Find Now and double click on the
printer you wish to add from the selections that appear below. Select
No when asked to use the printer as a default, and finally
click Next and Finish.
