  1. At the command line type the command: SET PASSWORD
  2. The system will prompt you for your old password. Once you have typed in your old password the system will then prompt for the new password. You will be prompted for the new password a second time in order to verify it. The password changes if the user is authorized to change this account's password, if the old password is given correctly, and if the new password is given identically twice. Otherwise, an error message appears and the password remains unchanged. The system also keeps a history of your old passwords so it will give you an error message if you attempt to use a password that you have used before.
