  1. Insert the installer CD and double-click the CiscoVPN Client installer icon.
  2. Type in your OS X password to authenticate the installer.
  3. Follow the instructions for installing the client.
  4. After installation double-click the VPNClient application in the Applications folder to launch the client.

  5. Click the New button and type in the following information: 
    Connection Entry: HMC
Description:      HMC
Host:             Please contact the Help Desk for the host address.
  6. Under Group Authentication:
    Contact the Help Desk to get your settings.
  7. Click the Save button.

  8. To establish the VPN connection click the Connect button. Administrative users will use their HMCADM login name and password to authenticate. Academic users will use their Thuban login name and password to authenticate. Click the Continue button to complete the connection process.
  9. Click the Disconnect button when you are done. There are a limited number of VPN connections available so please be sure to disconnect when you no longer need the VPN connection.
