Servers

• Email: Students get email accounts on the unix server Odin; faculty and staff get email accounts on Thuban.
• File servers: There are two Windows 2000 file servers: Charlie for students and faculty, and Alice for staff and administration.
• Web servers: Students can set up web pages on Odin; faculty can set up course web pages on the courseware server.
• Other departments: Students, faculty and staff may receive accounts through other departments. For example, the computer science department offers UNIX accounts (including email and Web space) to computer science majors.
