FAST made a huge impact on my decision to attend Harvey Mudd. I didn't know anything about Harvey Mudd before FAST, and the program opened my eyes to all the opportunities available here. What is your favorite memory of attending FAST? My favorite memory of FAST was meeting so many great people. Some of the FAST participants are my closest friends at Mudd today.

Graduating Class- 2014 Major- Engineering Hometown- San Gabriel, California High School- San Marino High School How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd? The FAST program was one of a series of events from which I learned more about Mudd and came to know that Mudd was the right choice for me. I wouldn't say that if I didn't go to FAST program I would not have come to Mudd, but it did help to affirm my decision. What was your favorite memory of attending FAST? When I first met all the other attendees, we played a few ice breaker games to get to know everyone. Meeting very awesome people and knowing that there is a good possibility that I will be attending college with some of them was very exciting.

Graduating Class- 2013 Major- Mathematics Hometown- White Plains, NY High School- Woodlands High School How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd? Until I went to the FAST Program, I was not seriously considering Mudd. It's far from home, and I had not gotten a feel for the work ethic, integrity, and sense of community that I found here until staying overnight with my host. What is your favorite memory of attending FAST? A few of the other FAST attendees and I were taken to innertube water polo with one of my host's friends. It was fun to go from asking my host and her dormmates questions about being a college student while they did homework, to watching them play an intramural sport, to homework again.

It was a huge impact for me because I got the opportunity to talk to the current students and see how they interact at Mudd. I didn’t know about Harvey Mudd until I was a senior in high school and it was FAST that played a large role in my decision to attend Harvey Mudd. What is your favorite memory of attending FAST? My favorite memory would have to be getting the opportunity to talk to the current students and also the conversations I got to have with the admissions representatives.

FAST had a great impact on my decision. The students that I spoke to made me feel at home, and the case studies gave me insight to how applications were processed and made me more confident in mine. What is your favorite memory of attending FAST? These two students, who I met at the LAC, walked me around campus for hours in the middle of the night and were just so excited to show off Mudd and tell me about their experience. Their enthusiasm for Mudd made me really excited about

The FAST program showed me how much more rigorous and hands-on classes at HMC were than those at any other college, and how relaxed and intelligent Mudd students are. What is your favorite memory of attending FAST? I really enjoyed meeting the faculty and students and getting to know how Mudders think.
