To help students cover the cost of their education expenses, HMC offers several low-interest loans with flexible repayment plans. Contact the Office of Financial Aid to learn how to apply. HMC Loans include:

Student Parsons Loan: A limited college student loan funded by the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation. A cosigner is required for all student borrowers.

• Maximum loan amount: $4,000
• Interest rate and accrual terms: Fixed rate at 5.25%. Interest does not accrue until six months after graduation, withdrawal from college, or after enrollment drops below half-time.
• Repayment terms: Quarterly repayment of principal and interest begins six months after graduation, after withdrawal from college, or after enrollment drops below half-time. Deferment of principal and interest is available for full-time enrollment at an institution of higher education and for limited periods of time while on full time active duty as a member of the Armed Forces of the United States or serving in an internship.

Miller Loan: Limited funds are available through these HMC-sponsored loan programs.

• Maximum loan amount: $4,000
• Interest rate and accrual terms:  Fixed rate at 5.25%. No interest accrues while you’re enrolled.
• Repayment terms: Quarterly repayment of principal and interest begins six months after graduation, after withdrawal from college, or after enrollment drops below half-time. Deferments are available for full-time enrollment at an institution of higher education.
