The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University website provides information on the institute's various programs as well as application material.
The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) website provides information on the organization's programs for studying and working abroad.

The Higher Education and Research Opportunities in the United Kingdom is the official portal site of the UK Higher Education system. The Council International ID Card Insurance is automatically included with international ID cards issues by Council, but it should not be your only health insurance.

The U.S. State Department provides medical information for Americans traveling abroad.
Passports & Visas
The U.S. State Department's passport site provides information and downloadable applications for U.S. citizens interested in obtaining a passport. A passport is required for travel to nearly all countries. First-time applicants will have to apply in person at an officially designated location. Allow at least a month for processing, though expedited processing (within 10 business days) is available at an additional cost.
The U.S. State Department's Foreign Entry Requirements provides visa information for U.S. citizens traveling as tourists. Visas may not always be necessary, but are usually required for study, work or stays longer than a few months.
The Electronic Embassy offers a comprehensive list of foreign embassies in Washington, D.C. Websites of individual countries provide official information about visas, cultural exchanges and more.

Council Travel is the sole authorized U.S. distributor of the International Student Identity Card. ID card applications are available online. These cards bring discounts on airfares abroad and offer benefits like emergency evacuation medical services.

AESU Travel specializes in airfares, rail passes and other products for student travelers, particularly for European destinations.
Council Travel/STA Travel is a large student travel agency with worldwide branches specializing in airfares, rail passes and other products for student travelers. It's affiliated with the Council on International Educational Exchange.
