Harvey Mudd College is located on Platt Boulevard (formerly E. 12th Street) between Dartmouth Avenue and Claremont Boulevard.

From Los Angeles, take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east to Indian Hill Boulevard (Exit 47) and go north to Foothill Boulevard. Turn right and go one-half mile to Dartmouth Avenue, turn right, and then left on Platt Boulevard.

From the San Fernando Valley and Pasadena, take the Ventura Freeway to the Colorado Freeway (134) and the Foothill Freeway (I-210). Exit at Towne Avenue and go south. When you reach Foothill Boulevard (Route 66) turn left. Continue on Foothill (Route 66) approximately two miles, turn right on Dartmouth Avenue, then left on Platt Boulevard.

From Orange County and south, take the Orange Freeway (57) north to the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east to Indian Hill Boulevard (Exit 47) and go north to Foothill Boulevard. Turn right and go one-half mile to Dartmouth Avenue, turn right, and then left on Platt Boulevard.

From Long Beach, take the San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605) north to the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east to Indian Hill Boulevard (Exit 47) to Indian Hill Boulevard (Exit 47) and go north to Foothill Boulevard. Turn right and go one-half mile to Dartmouth Avenue, turn right, and then left on Platt Boulevard.

The Ontario International Airport has direct or connecting service to all parts of the country. It is eight miles east of Claremont. From the airport, go north on Vineyard Avenue, take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) west to Indian Hill Boulevard (Exit 47) and go north to Foothill Boulevard. Turn right and go one-half mile to Dartmouth Avenue, turn right, and then left on Platt Boulevard.
