The Harvey Mudd College Writing Center offers an arena where students can work through the writing process and improve the expression of their ideas by participating in individualized conferences and occasional group workshops with trained peer consultants.

Recognizing that even the best writers benefit from peer review, the Writing Center provides an opportunity for student writers to get feedback on their work before they submit it for evaluation. Peer consultants are available to offer advice and encouragement by responding to the writer’s concerns; they assist students in any discipline with any stage of the writing process, from developing an idea to polishing a final draft.
