In the spring of the first year, each student is assigned an advisor in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts to help him or her construct an appropriate program of study that fulfills the requirements of the HSA program. Students generally meet with their advisors at least once a semester and must have their advisor’s signature in order to preregister for courses.
