A unifying theme of research in my laboratory is the exploration
of dynamic assemblies of molecules into organized structures through non-covalent interactions. We characterize these "supramolecular systems" that extend beyond the realm of individual molecules using spectroscopic and light scattering techniques. Investigations probe the use of these structures as microencapsulation devices, as model membranes, and as chemical sensors
